During her time at UCSI, Maxy organised charity concerts, including The Sound of Kindness for Every Child in 2018, raising funds for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh through UNICEF.

In 2024, she toured key Malaysian cities, including Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur, performing a diverse range of music from movie soundtracks to contemporary classical pieces.

Founder of Iraq AI Summit

Dr Alsaadi is a prominent leader in digital transformation, particularly in higher education. He is the founder of the Iraq AI Summit, a national initiative designed to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across academia, industry, and government sectors in Iraq.

As a driving force in building smart, cyber-secure campuses, Dr Alsaadi has played a pivotal role in fostering academic collaboration between Iraq and the UK. He is also behind significant initiatives such as the “Go Green” environmental campaign and the integration of AI and cybersecurity education at the University of Al-Maarif.

A frequent speaker at international conferences, including the Digital Universities Asia Summit, Dr Alsaadi is widely recognised for his contributions to education reform, research innovation, and capacity building in the region.
