In her final year at UCSI, Edna set a national record by completing the largest wall mural painting (14.3m x 12.5m) single-handedly at UCSI Hospital, Negeri Sembilan. She is currently the director of Edna Creationz Sdn Bhd, a company specialising in custom art sneakers.

Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned global brands, including Timberland, Carlsberg, Puma and OPPO. Her company’s social media presence continues to grow, with over 20,000 followers to date.

After graduating from UCSI, Mei Li pursued a PhD at HKU, where she studied polyphosphate—a molecule connected to health and disease. Her research explored how polyphosphate impacts cells, particularly in bone, cartilage and collagen formation in bone cells. Her work has helped identify how polyphosphate could be used in medicine and materials that aid in healing and regeneration.

Now, her focus has shifted to medical education, where she teaches molecular biology and biotechnology. Mei Li is recognised for her innovative teaching methods and has received multiple accolades, including the Teaching Innovation Award (2023) and the Early Career Teaching Award (2022) by HKU.

After graduating, Rien gained international experience by working with architecture firms in Japan, Taiwan and the United States, specialising in residential and office design. He is currently the director of TKCA Architects and a part-time lecturer at various local universities. He is also the founder of ArPlus Group, a tuition centre that helps Part II graduate architects obtain their Part III architectural licence.

Dr Kev Lim has transformed healthcare accessibility in Malaysia through his company Qmed Asia, serving three million active patients. He developed a user-friendly app powered by innovative AI solutions like Qmed Copilot and AI Vision, tackling key challenges such as long wait times, the need for remote care and AI-assisted diagnosis.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Qmed Asia – then known as QueueMed – was one of four service providers selected by the Ministry of Health for its Online Appointment system, helping to reduce congestion in health clinics.

Dr Meldy Tanako holds a DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. She frequently presents workshops and poster sessions at national, state and local conferences around the United States. Her current research interests include the piano works of Naoko Ikeda and intermediate repertoire by underrepresented composers. She is also currently a lecturer here at UCSI University.
